Ragin' Storm

(Burkett, Yarbrough, Houseman, Zachary)

Outside mother nature is all the rage
Inside I'm bound within this tiny cage
Just as the storm rips at the land
An inner storm rips control from my hand
Even a ragin' storm cleanses the air and feeds the land
Even hell's havoc can be quelled when put it Heaven's hand
Nowhere to turn except to the Lord
I receive my strength from His almighty word
Countless burdens tearing at my soul
Seems this heavy cross I bare is taking it's toll
I'm reminded of another cross so much larger than mine
I remember a Man who died for me then I no longer whine
My load has now been lifted the storm no longer dwells
My Lord has calmed the sea and removed the mighty swells
