Burning Bush CD got their start during the summer of 2000. Mark Yarbrough, Roy Houseman, and Beau Burkett met while involved with the Praise Band at First United Methodist Church in Eustis, Florida. Each, in his own way, had been led to that point to use their talents to "grow God's Kingdom through music!"
Under Gods' direction, the relationship began to grow and soon they added a vocalist, Josh Ramsdell. Eight months later, their first disk was released entitled "He Gave It All", which was based on a rock opera written and produced by Burning Bush Enterprises.
Soon afterward, Josh left to continue his studies and Trevor Chapel took the reigns as lead vocals. After playing several venues, Trevor left the group to pursue his ministry at his local church.
Burning Bush continued as a trio until they persuaded a fellow praise band member, Mark Rothman, a.k.a: Marker, to join the ranks. Marker added rhythm guitar and vocals. Marker too left the group to return to school and receive his degree. He now lives in the Chicago area.
After Marker left the band in 2003 the group began to audition lead vocalists and guitarist. An outstanding talent emerged from these auditions in the form of Chad Zachary.
Soon after Chad joined Roy Houseman reluctantly and regretfully had to leave the group for personal reasons.
Today the group consists of Beau, Mark, and Chad along with other session players filling in. Burning Bush is wanting to expand to a five piece group very soon. We need an experienced bass player and a keyboardist. If you fit the bill and love the Lord let us know.
By the way, the CD at the end of their name stands for "Christ's Disciples."
